I received a email stating that they were getting a charity auction together and would I consider a lower price on my item. It was in my eBay messages and also sent to my personal email address. Is this allowed?
A buyer can ASK anything they want.
It is up to you to decide if you want to discount the item or not.
I have found that most sob-story or charity requests are not true ... they are just trying to get you to lower your price because they are "needy".
You can answer "I'm sorry, but the price is firm. Thank you for your interest."
