Anyone else having issues with vintage Tiffany items not passing authentication? We have had 3 pieces come back as "unable to authenticate" with no further explanation. They are obviously authentic Tiffany pieces from their older catalogs. It seems eBay is only able to authenticate modern designs. Why won't eBay train their team on vintage Tiffany logo and hallmarks? Extremely frustrating and every rejection counts as a defect. There's no way to opt out of the program either. It's really an unfair system right now.

I’m in the same boat. Selling Tiffany earrings I bought directly from a Tiffany store. I am the sole owner and I have the original receipt. They failed at the AG and were marked “Unable to confirm authenticity.” Boom, sent back to me and the buyer refunded. I believe they don’t know how to look for the right marks on Tiffany. These are modern pieces still produced and sold by Tiffany. But earrings only have the T&Co Au 750 stamped into the post and you need 10x magnification to read it. Otherwise there are no marks on any of the Tiffany earrings I have had, just the push backs. If you don’t know what you’re looking for, you might think there were no marks.
I am so **bleep** and dejected. And helpless because I can’t find a way to contact a real person.

Yup they did that to me a used pair of Yeezy sneakers, even though I bought direct from Adidas. Wont say its fake but wont say its real. My buyer didn't even care he just wanted them as is and Ebay just cancelled the sale and wasted everyones time. Its a total joke, Ebay is a total joke. I'm taking my business to Poshmark. I wont sell another thing with them, too many bad experiences and HORRIBLE customer service. You will get bounced around to 10 different people and be told 10 different things.

The assessment reports are completely lacking, gotta wonder if they are just just spinning a pass or no wheel..

Have had same problems with the AG. They could not verify that item was authentic, but REFUSED to provide any details because it would be giving away trade secrets.
