Recognize the maker by back pattern?

Anyone know the maker of these earrings by the distinctive pattern on the back? Thank you.

The circles are not evenly placed,looks like it was done with a "nail set" in a back street shop.

They look like they would be heavy for earrings unless they had an omega back. I would consider taking the posts off and turning them into pendants. I think they are picture jasper, and they would make a pretty pendant and cuff set. 

I don't know if you are into that type of thing or not, but just a thought.
