Large NA (?) cuff with a strange stone, any ideas ?

I have no idea what this large stone is in this Native American cuff bracelet. In hand it's a dark mottled red/brown/black with turquoise flecks. 

Does anyone recognize the artist mark ? I've looked in all the usual NA artist mark sites.

Wow!  I had no idea you could go back that far.  I read my questions and have no idea what I was talking about.  In 2008 I was one yr out of retiring from teaching and just beginning to search.  It was probably one of my DH's pieces.  Sorry I can't help.

DH did look at it and could not help either.

Calico, I had no idea you could go back that far searching.  I read what I wrote but have no idea what I was saying.  I had just retired from teaching in 2007 and just beginning to ask about jewelry.  Going from 5th grade to vintage jewelry was a big step.

DH could not find the mark either.

Thank you Peach (and your DH as well) for trying. I had done a google search for the mark and your old question came up. Was it the same mark though ?
