I believe these are Russian from the backwards R but cannot find out anything else. What would the #2 stand for? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also these are very lightweight, the amber almost feels like plastic? Thank you!
I tried finding out too, 3 or 4 years ago while researching this pair - evidently by the same maker. Mark is quite similar except on mine there's the reverse R followed by K, followed by a zero - 0 rather than by a 2. Looks like the 3rd symbol is a variable. Having no clue of an association between the reversed R and Russia, (what is it BTW?), I decided they must be from Poland - maker unknown. Your post has rekindled my curiosity - particularly about the zero versus the 2. What could that possibly mean. I hope this post helps and that someone comes along who recognizes the mark.
