I can`t read the mark, but the backing doesn`t look like the 1928 Jewelry Co texturing..see here on Sandy`s site

I haven't seen this tree before.  Can you get a close up of the signature?  Use the macro on your camera.  It looks like a little flower.

I found your tree on pg 102 of Mary Morrison's Christmas Jewelry ed 3.

"This two layer tree has branches in back, gold in front- ten on each side.  Sixteen  ornaments  rest between  the front branches.  $20-$45.  Unsigned."

The book is dated, 2009, but still helpful to me.  Good luck!

Not that this is a definitive but looking up JJ Christmas Tree Brooches, the Star on top of a lot of them matched the one on your Brooch.
