A friend found this at an estate sale and picked it up for me along with a few other little fancies. We're trying to decide what it is. It has the Hobe hallmark on it. She thinks it's a clip on earring. I'm wondering if it's a glove holder maybe with some part missing? There are two holes on the ends of the inside of the ring. It is hinged so you can pull it apart. Is it just an odd ring? The pattern on it reminds me of glove holder and to my mind the pattern kind of dates it.
