Help identify 'what' to call this???

I have found some pieces I'm thinking would be used on a Dresser or Chest as an accent, But would so appreciate help on what it actually is... I tried looking up 'Sigma', which it says on the back, but nothing.

It measures 2-3/8 inches at the widest by 3-3/4 inches at the tallest. 

The strange thing to me is it has 4 screw holes on the back...

Found it @fire4jewel . It's for a ceiling fan and attaches to the arm/bracket that holds the blade.
