Nippon bisque doll

I purchased this little doll at an auction many years ago.  She is in her original clothing, shoes and stand. Her undergarments are sewn on.  I tried to research her on the internet and found a few obvious reproductions.  I would be most grateful for any information you could provide.IMG_0719.jpegIMG_0721.jpeg

Nippon bisque doll

Your charming little all bisque doll with molded hair and hairbow, shoes as well ?, handpainted, was made in Japan ("Nippon" translates to "Japan") between 1891 and 1921. (See McKinley Tariff Act if interested.) The arms are movable (elastic or wire joints). The legs are probably stationary but may be jointed as well. Clothing looks to be original (i.e., made for the doll but most were not factory-dressed) and in excellent condtition. Painting looks to be intact. A minty condition small doll, popular with collectors.
