How do I speed up my eBay Listings

?:| I would dearly love to be able to list dozens of different items per hour but I'm lucky if a manage to list 3-9 items per day! I always seem to have trouble finding the right catergory or the photos or giving a shipping cost, I hate having to state a shipping cost when I have no idea where the item will sell to (if ever) and how much it will weigh when packed...I am sure guessing at the shipping cost puts a lot of potential buyers off! I tried doing the calculated shipping but that takes up so much time having to find the right size and shape box wrapping the item and then giving the weight and size to Canada Post for the calculater, some (No most!) days I am so frustrated I just want to go to bed and sleep! Any suggestions? How do these people have 1,000s of items to sell when all I have managed to get listed in the past six months is 200! Another question I have is what is a tag? Pat AKA tu-ee

How do I speed up my eBay Listings

Right now I only have 2 items listed because I closed my store where I had nearly 500 listed and moved them off eBay because of high fees. For me I used the free Turbo Lister program from eBay to work up my listings. I grouped things that were alike and created a basic template and then just changed my pics and descriptions. Postage is a hassle, especially for me as I am dealing with postage into the US and elsewhere from GREECE which has really bad shipping guidelines. From here there is no possible way to have an accurate shipping cost until you actually post the item as the PO will only give us general guidelines. I charge based upon those guidelines and guarantee that I will refund the difference if more than 0.50 within 24 hours of actually shipping the item. So far it has worked. I upload all of my pics to Photobucket and keep a set on my laptop's desktop all sorted by category and date. It takes a lot of organization to keep things running smoothly especially when listing on 5 different sites! Good Luck! Photobucket

Pat have you tried the Turbo Lister with eBay? Also if you are selling mostly the same things auctiva.com is a free hosting site for eBay. You can list up to 24 photos with them. Good luck and I hope you sell lots and lots on eBay. http://specialtreasurersstore.com --

Turbo lister is a great bulk selling tool! Try that. Be careful when posting shipping rates...Tomorrow, rates go up, so they will have to change. Turbo lister takes some getting use to, but once you figure it all out, it make life so much easier. I tried turbo lister before & didn't like it because I couldn't enhance or crop my pictures. But now you can't do that on ebay either. I took a class from Dana & am learning to use Photobucket. Do I take the photos from Photobucket to workpad to Turbo lister like I would to my regular eBay ad? Dana is a great teacher, I am a slow learner! Will be finished with work for the school year in a week so hope to get more than a few items listed per week & would love to be able to retire next fall & just do eBay!

What I usually do is edit my picture first, then use it in Turbo lister. I don't use photo bucket or workpad...but you can use it if you want to use html to add more pics to your listings. I just stick to the one pic. But if you need to crop, crop it first, then use it in turbo lister...it's like an upload into turbo lister when you add your pics. -- You don't stop laughing because you grow old; You grow old because you stop laughing!
