Hi
was hoping some one could help. I sold a purse that I had authenticated then the ebay authenticators say it did not pass. I am looking for an explanation of what and why it failed. Below the info I got and really confused did it fail because it truly is not real or did it fail because description was not good enough? Is there a way to get a summary of findings made by authenticators and have it more informative then what I got?
We recommend relisting with a more accurate description and detailed photos to avoid a similar outcome in the future.
Anybody understand what and why it failed?
thank you in advance

Ok, we should reply to the posters answer to our authentication question : nwrains, I think your money was well spent on the COA. It looks to me like if you just relist it, and make mention of each red 'Fail' area that you received from ebay that you should be able to relist it, just with better descriptions of those areas. You probably should call ebay first about this. Good Luck.

It's hard to tell from this description. It seems that your description possibly didn't match the ebay authenticators description of your bag, compared to yours. Can you share pics and your original description of the bag/ Thanks

Are you saying that the part I've highlighted in red is what they told you when they refused/failed it?
If that's the case, it failed because they're saying it failed because of the condition. It appears that it wasn't accurately described.
If it was deemed fake, they wouldn't have told you to relist with better pictures and description.

I posted the original posting. So you think it failed due to description and not for being fake?

Yes the parts in red is the ONLY information I got.
Was trying to find out how to get more info and or get this translated to dumb person English lol.
That would be awesome if not deemed fake as I had authenticated prior to selling for $40 and was thinking it was a waste.
Thank you for helping

It would have said fake: not relist with corrected description...

Yes, that's what appears to be the case.
I looked at the listing and the pictures are dark, blurry, don't zoom for more detail and in some cases, aren't cropped close enough for buyers (and authenticators) to accurately assess the condition from the pictures.
Although you describe the issues, I had a hard time seeing them in your pictures.

Remember to be courteous and allow me answer the OP's reply to my questions. nwrains...Who authenticated this bag for you?

What? Who is being discourteous? Which post isn't courteous?
As you posted on a previous thread, anyone is "allowed" to answer questions. Just because you responded to one of the posts doesn't mean that others can't answer!
In answer to your question (to the OP) about who authenticated the bag, it's clearly shown in the original listing that the bag came with a COA from RA (Real Authentication). Whether the authentication is accurate, I (personally) don't know but based on ebay's authentication team, it appears to be since there isn't a question of authenticity.
My recommendation in post 8 stands.

Real Authentication is the one I used I do not know who Ebay used but it was in Vegas.

Please don't let this stress you out. It's not worth that, and it's not necessary.
I would recommend that you follow the suggestions from @albertabrightalberta, and don't let this upset you any more. There's no need for that.
