Ok today i picked up this nice brooch at a thrift shop. as i usually do i searched eBay to see if i can identify it and whats its average price is. Its a dozen long stem roses brooch and looks exactly like the AVON one stamped DM 97. EXcept mine is simply stamped with a capital "M" or mabye its a W i dunno. that is the only difference between the two so is it older? newer? a different brand all together? a little help please. I am a 46 yr old father of 3 whose wife has no interest in jewelry and im just learning ive always like the old vintage stuff. i also picked up a pair of Hogan Bolas screwback clip ons for .25 cents. they are kinda a dish with a gold color flower petals on a white and greenish background they about penny size. i had no idea who that was until i looked them up, i think i got a bargain there.
