Hi, and thanks to anyone who reads, anyone who chimes in. Just received my eBay-purchased used pants today. I'm questioning their authenticity because:
1. There's no care label (realize it may have simply been removed, but I find no spot inside the pants where it might have been removed by cutting or otherwise)
2. Suspect build quality inside the pants -- note the white gauzy "fabric" under the fly and elsewhere. Not trimmed neatly before or after it was sewed.
3. I've not seen Polo by Ralph Lauren hems like these -- just a simple stitch
4. Sloppy fly construction
5. Waist measurement tag, but no inseam measurement tag
I like the pants and for the price I can't complain, but I also don't want to contribute to the problem of counterfeiting. The listing photos didn't show the poor interior build quality.
