Is black the IN thing and flavour of the year once again?

I'm into black myself, not that little black dress mind you.

It seems to be the easiest thing to wear when going out for special occasions.  With the proper accessories, shoes and bags to match, you'll neither be overdressed nor underdressed.

The reason I've brought this up was due to the recently held Golden Globe awards held recently where many of the big namers wore black to make a point.  In addition there are also the "Me Too" and  "Time's Up" Groups who also use the colour black to support their cause. 

There are other awards ceremonies coming soon eg the BAFTAS (UK) on 18 February, OSCARS on 4th March,  and I'm very curious to know if the trend does continue.

I think it probably will. After all, besides the statement the color is being used to make, who could pass up the perfect reason to wear their favorite Little Black Dress? Especially since that scumbag POS Weinstein isnt around any more demanding that all "his" stars wear one of his soon-to-be-ex-wifes designs.
