That bag shown in the listing is authentic. 

It's a good idea to verify authenticity of any item you aren't sure of but "some sellers" aren't skilled in knowing what to look for to make sure their items are authentic.

 Known simply as 'Backpack' It was made around 1992. It was made in the USA and the style number was #509. Great Deal!
