It is sad when you get a product and it is not the real product.  I was working to get my AirPod pros working and they didn’t work as they should.  I don’t live near an Apple Store so it wasn’t easy to try and get my AirPods working.  So when I finally did they told me they were not the real product but fake. Sold out of China.  So I will cancel my eBay account since we can’t have honesty any more and I lost my money.  So sad.

Sounds like you may have allowed the eBay 30-day money back guarantee expire.

If not and your item was delivered within the last 30 days, you can open a eBay return to get your money back.  If it was past 30 days, you can file a case with PayPal if you used them to purchase or your Credit card.

Go to your eBay Purchase History and open a return case.
Find the item in your Purchase History and press the big, blue 'Return this item' button. Select "Item is Not as Described" as the reason for the return.

If it requires you to upload a photo to the return case you will need to do that.

Seller will be required to provide a prepaid shipping label IF they want the item back before refunding.

When the return tracking shows delivered back to the seller, the seller will have 2 days to inspect and refund your purchase. If that does not happen there will be an "Ask eBay to Step In", option for you to click on. EBay will refund your money.

Under NO circumstances do you close the return before getting your refund, REGARDLESS of what the seller might tell you.

Come back here with any or all questions you might have throughout this process.

It is at least equally sad when a buyer does not use the tools offered him if/when a transaction goes wrong.

eBay's Money Back Guarantee is seen in every listing and generally works pretty well.  The catch is that buyers need to be aware of it, understand it and use it in a timely manner.

Apparently, per your message, you received an item that was not as described.  You had 30 days after receipt to open an item not as described case with eBay.

After you opened that case, you needed to return to it after four days and ask eBay to step in.  Had you been required to return that faulty item, the seller was required to send you a prepaid return label and to refund you in full upon receipt of the return.

Since your seller is in China, he is not able to send you that label, but is required to front you in advance the money to ship the return.

If it's been more than 30 days, you can open a case with Paypal if that's how you paid or, last option, do a charge back on your credit card.

So you are leaving eBay because you did not understand how to handle a case of an item not as described? OK then.

No I am leaving because people are dishonest and by the time I found out they were fake I couldn’t get my refund.  So stop being a jerk.
