purchased unit but came with NO electrical instructions on how to wire the controler to the battery. HELP PLEASE!

Assuming this is something you purchased on eBay, why not reach out to the seller and ask about instructions?

Most of the Lantern style wind generators I found listed, have wiring instructions printed on the controller, for the input and output wiring. The input is usually color coded 3 wires from the generator,  and the output 2 wires generally black (-) and red (+).  If the generator's listing description does not mention a controller being one of the parts included,  it may have been a separate unit you had to buy.  The controllers are generally not included in the lowest priced wind generator listings.
