ID Needed: What is this thing please? A little GOLD plated Antenna?

Hi There,

I'm hoping someone can give me an idea what this little apparatus might be. It looks like a mini antenna and is from electronics supply company. I was advised it is gold plated. It measures about 3/4" inches tall. Thanks for any feedback and hope you have a great weekend! 🙂a3.jpg

repairelectronics
Trailblazer
It looks like a type of dsub connector, similar to an ITT Cannon. Unscrew the top and take another picture to see if it coaxial.

Thank you for your help! Here's another photo of the top taken off. Does it look co-axial? I'm wondering how to list it. Thanks for any feedback and hope you have a nice week ahead. 🙂K4.jpg

Yes, it is coaxial, also my math says it is a 1/8" barrel based on your 3/4" length. This could be used as an antenna, cable tv coax, or even a shielded pro-audio cable.

My guess still says it is most likely part of a sub-assembly such as a Dsub or Amphenol shell. These can sell for several dollars each, how many do you have?
