Your PIN was likely set when you set up the account with your current carrier.

It is unlikely that the original seller knows your PIN unless the seller also set up the account for you.
If you purchased your phone in 2018 or later, you can check your Purchase History for transaction information and to find the seller username. If you purchased earlier than that, you may recognize the seller username in your feedback if you exchanged feedback.
