I just want any clues as to who made her. I did not like the Danbury Mint dolls. This one looks like the original and is strung. Very pretty doll I bought to keep for myself but not a single tag or mark. Any help appreciated and only curious. I love her no matter what.
if she is Danbury that's ok because she looks so much better than the others. Thanks in advance!

Hi.
I see some kind of signature up by her wig. Can you get a close up of it?
She's definitely a modern reproduction, and she is really nice.

You are probably seeing glue and hair stuck to her scalp...I pulled the wig up as far as possible and can't find a signature - also, she isn't porcelain - I can't figure out what she's made of - her legs clap together like wood. I can't find anything and it's driving me crazy!

I was digging around and found an article from 2001 that stated someone in Texas was making composition reproductions and that they were signed on the bottom of the shoe - (none on mine) - do you know anything about this person or who they were? Again, she's here to stay but it would be nice to know where she came from -
