Hello her at an estate sale.
I am not familiar with the markings under the left arm, can any of you BARBIE collectors help me?
Any idea to year of this doll? Thank you in advance, I really appreciate your input! LAURIE

She is a Fashion Queen Barbie.

The head and wigs were also offered separately as Barbie's Wig Wardrobe:

The 7 and the underarm marks are mold marks only and not significant to the identification of the doll.

The Fashion Queen heads that have faded lip paint are normally from 1964. The 1963 dolls have coral lips that haven't faded (I still have my FQ that I got for Christmas in 1963). But in 64 and 65 Mattel had a coral paint formulation that faded over time. Many of the dolls made in 64 and 65 now have lips that have faded to nude. It's much less likely to find faded lips on one of the separate Wig Wardrobe heads. Many of the later Wig Wardrobe heads were high color, with more eyeshadow and pronounced blush. Those heads had a Japan sticker on their neck rim.
Your doll is missing the blue band that would have been around her hair.
