Looking for name and maker of this 8½" doll - the clothing is unusually detailed complete with "fur" trim. I can't decide is she is a country (Spain?) doll or character (Disney?) doll. Thanks for your help.

The clothing is a dead giveaway indicating that the doll is depicting a Russian woman or at the very least, Eastern Bloc/Slavic. Not sure of the maker though.
Don't think it's Spanish given the fur trim.
Just my $0.02

To me, the doll's gown looks like a mid-16th century fashion. In England this would be called the Tudor era. The headdress appears to be intended to be the style called a French Hood.
Similar styles were worn in western Europe (France, Spain) but styles in the Germanic regions and eastern Europe were similar, but a bit different.
