Kids Learning To Talk
We had a similar topic to this in the past.
Think about different things little kids just learning how to talk would come out with.
Some that come to memory:
"Hit my head on the da dent da dent"
He hit is head on the fire hydrant
"Coffee and da moink"
He wanted coffee in his milk
"Get some delicious"
He wanted me to get cream cheese
Can you think of any?
Wishing you all a pain and stress free day

I never had kids but i remember my brother calling an asphalt truck and A$$hole truck 🙂 I think maybe someone cussed in front of him he inserted what he thought was the right word.
I remember wathcing a show called "kids say the darndest things" years ago. I think it was hosted by Bill Cosby.
Hope you have a good day.

Hi Jenny........the asphalt truck is perfect.
WOW kids can make ya laugh
There were always a lot of kids at our house playing with our kids. One day a lady came to visit us. She sat there and was admiring all the kids and what fun they were having.
2 of the kids came up to her and started talking to her. Then one of them said ...."Who's Got Stinky Feet"? ....... "You Got Stinky Feet....YOU YOU YOU"
as he smelled the lady's feet.....
Try to explain your way out of that one sometime....

Originally it was hosted by Art Linkletter but I think DWB and I are the only ones old enough to remember that far back!

I have such fun with my 3 year old grandson....and really should write down all of the funny stuff he says.
He had been calling me gum-gum, but yesterday he decided to call me gummy.

This sure is a fun topic to go back and read thru. Made me laugh many times doing that.
As for some funny kids stuff there was a show on the radio back in the 1940s. (Before tv) They had kids talking about what they saw when all the lights were out. The imaginations of these kids was fabulous.
When the radio show was over:
We'd set it up so the lights were off and there would be light coming in from outside. And the blinds would be open so light came in too.
The kids could see the clouds and the stars and the moon and things making shadows in the house. It was all FREE entertainment.
Going to work on remembering some of the things they came out with back then. My brain needs to wake up to remember them.
Wishing you all a pain free weekend,
DWB

I sure do remember Art Linkletter.
Remember him doing the kids thing. He had a very special way about him that really made it good.

When my oldest son was young ... he wanted to be a Canadian when he grew up.
When asked why ... he explained that he really like to make people laugh!
Although Jason did not grow up to become a Canadian ... or a Comedian ... he still continues to make us laugh!!
Have a Happy Day!

"Ma hurry up get a diaper........I gotta take a poop"
