Taxidermy and Ivory

Why is Ebay still selling what they already deem as illegal or unacceptable? I see stuffed turtles, ivory canes, a taxidermy ox and hundreds of other dead animals. I messaged them and the response was that one of their people checks the listings "now and then."

Ivory and any other products from endangered or threatened species are prohibited, but taxidermy is permitted unless it is from an endangered species (and a few other exceptions).

You need to use the report link if you see an item that is against policy, but if you made a lot of false reports such as reporting items that are not actually prohibited, then your reports might get flagged as unreliable.
