Stalking Glossy Black Panther Planter 15 ½” - Need Help with Partial Sticker

I have this Stalking Glossy Black Panther Planter 15 ½”  long, with a partial sticker on the base.

Does anyone recognize or can decipher this sticker?

I know it's not McCoy or Haeger.

Can't really help, but the sticker looks like a store price sticker.

These were very popular in the late 1950's, as a planter, or even more popular with a light bulb in the back, as a lamp on top of your TV.  We had one back then.

I don't think the sticker is going to identify it. It's not like markings...

Right.   I think it's a production / factory sticker put on before the paint was applied.  The first line I think is uppercase letters MO_NI__, and the second line looks like Warr...

Is that glaze, though?   To me, it looks like some sort of ink or other black goo got on the panther's foot, and the stuff obscured a retail store sticker.

@maxine*j If it was glaze it would be on all 4 feet. Me thinks that is touch up paint, albeit done badly or some other amateur attempt to cover a chip.

Yes, that was part of my thinking that it doesn't look like glaze or anything original to the piece.

We are obviously not going to solve the partial sticker mystery, but thanks to everyone for your inputs.

I'm still sticking with a price sticker.  I think the top letters were the name of the store and the WARR is part of the town where the store is/was located.  Is the a town near you called Warren, or something similar?

Yes, it still seems odd to me, too,  because I should think a paper label would burn off during firing.  But we have only photos and OP has it in hand, and OP says the black stuff is the glaze.
