Search and missing category

Collectibles & Art : Combining these two category eliminated the category of pin backs & lunchboxes. You used to be able to locate it while searching, when collectibles were separate from art. I can see the category in the options when I’m listing something for sale but if someone were to search for the category of lunchboxes and pin backs, they won’t find it. So I get very little traffic for these items because eBay has buried them.

I searched for the category PINBACKS and LUNCHBOXES (for the first time ever) and found it quite easily.

I suspect the path to get to it has changed and made it difficult. Searching vintage lunch boxes reveals the sought after category on the left hand side near the top under the heading categories.

Yes my friend, that is what I’m saying. Pinbacks and lunchboxes used to be on their own under the collectible tab. Now if you search by way of categories, there isn’t even a separate category for lunchboxes and people searching for pins may not type in the word pin back and be directed to sports and Disney pins (which all pins are not) I’m sure there may be other collectible items eBay has buried from collectors searches due to their constant “improvements” and updates. It’s become less user friendly to newer “ebayer” yes, You can always find lunchboxes by typing into the search the word lunchbox but the pins that are considered pinbacks and not sport or Disney memorabilia pins go unseen because they are buried from view.
