I found this fan dancer lamp at an estate sale but dont think its old. Might be a reproduction. Does anyone have an idea? Underneath where the light bulb goes there is nothing to hold it. Thx for your reply.

Thats it probably. No lamp component on this one either. It is still worth some I see when googling it. So good for me lol. Thanks a lot

You can compare yours with the one in this link (and there are others like it if you use Google Lens.) Compare the measurements and details. Most likely yours is authentic from the 30's but of course the lamp part is missing but could be replaced I imagine.

Thanks for that. The measurements are about right. I saw this lamp when I picture searched as well. Not your link though, its great. My worry was however there is no part to screw the bulb in. All the others I saw had that. The one in your pic as well. You can see it in the first pic on the left side peaking out. This one has no hole for it even. So I dont know 😞

Oh there isn't a hole in yours! But it does have the opening for the cord so maybe a factory error?

I think it may be a Sarsaparilla reproduction. It seems to lack the definition of the McKee or Frankart models.
