Mailing a 6' x 4' poster???

My huband has a very large collectible farm equipment poster that is 6' x 4' in size.    Any suggestions on how to mail.    I am assuming I will have to find some kind of tubing but how do I enter the correct dimensions.      I plan on looking for something a little over 4' in length and big enough around to accomodate a mailing label.     Has anyone mailed anything this large of a poster before????

I look at this like I am shipping art and try to prevent damage at every turn. On antique/vintage posters, if you wind it too tight, you can put creases/cracks in the old ink surface. Some paper does better than others. And like I said above If you wind it too tight it can "hang up" in the tube and make it hard to retrieve.
