I need some assistance in identifying the foil label on a lead crystal sphere. I have attached pictures. Thank you for your input.

This seller identifies the label as that of Imperial Crystal Works:

So you may want to search further. to verify that.
You know it was made between 1949 and 1990, with "West Germany" on the label.
It seems to have a ribbon hanger, so if it's light enough (hollow), it's perhaps a Christmas tree ornament.

OK. Evidently the other seller had it wrong, which is why you did the right thing to double-check.
I hope someone comes along who can help. If you don't get help here, you might also try on the eBay Pottery, Glass, and Procelain Board. Here's the link to that forum:

I'm out of my area here, so this may be a laughable suggestion, but: Is it possible it's Noritake? I found that Noritake did have lead crystal made in West Germany. The Noritake mark is an M within a wreath. I not find any Noritake glassware labels that look like yours, but it did make me wonder. Just a thought, if you're run out of other ideas to explore.

You're very welcome. Sorry I couldn't be of more help in solving the mystery.

You may want to try looking under "witch" or "friendship" balls to help find the maker. Just a thought. Good luck.
