Help with Autograph?

Found this at an estate sale... Any ideas on who signed it?  thanks for helping out  Bob

Autograph puzzles are much easier to solve in context.  So does this hat have graphics  or a logo so we know if the person who signed the hat is likely to be from the field of sports, aviation, commerce, medicine, entertainment...?

No,  no graphics.....  Was part of a broad hat collection.... mostly gasoline companies... maybe a race car driver?

Pretty sure it's Cale Yarborough - NASCAR driver/owner

As maxine mentioned autograph puzzles are much easier to figure out with some context...if you hadn't narrowed it down with the collection of hats it was part of I'd probably still be staring at the signature muttering **bleep**!!?.... haha!
