Help to Identify this lamps maker and approx. age

Looks like it may be a converted lamp from a lidded urn or open vase.  If you could remove the wooden base, there may be a clue to the manufacturer on the base of the ceramic.

I think it is a chinese vase lamp. The bottom is glued to the wood.
