Do you recognize the face in this knocker/pull handle?

Is this Bacchus? Some other culture? I would like a bit more information before I listed it. Any info will be much appreciated.

with no grapes, it is not bacchus.  leaves, ect suggest a Green Man but they usually are not teeth bearing, snarling.  I have no idea but it looks a bit asian

I think the Thai look is coincidental. A search for "devil head" or "demon head" knocker brings up a whole host of examples. May be Italian:
