Yes...bicentennial copper/nickel clad Eisenhower $1 coin that appears as a Variety 2  minted in Philadelphia. Mintage was 113,318,000 so there's plenty of them around. It is often held and not often seen in circulation. No  collector value as there are plenty to go around. I have a small box copper/nickel clad  Eisenhower's...maybe 50 of them with numerous bicentennial dates.  I should spend them I guess.  Maybe in pristine uncirculated condition you can get $1.50 to $2 for one from a friend. Your coin appears to have been in circulation and acquired some contact marks. Good luck ! Enjoy numismatics !

Hi, @chrimund-50 .

It is still easy to obtain these. They are not worth much more than face value. It still looks cool and could be a neat reminder of the person who gave it to you.

The person that gave you it as a graduation present was trying to be lousy and spend as little as they can on you...Servers that bring over a cup of coffee get tipped the minimum of $2...
