I have a bunch of buttons with a man's head on them with two Latin inscriptions on them: "Docendo discimus" (a saying of Seneca, meaning "We learn by teaching"), and "Ex Nihilo Nihil Fit" (a saying of Lucretius, meaning "Nothing comes from nothing"). I have found in the past that some of the buttons having Latin sayings on them are reproductions of old coins, but I'm having trouble finding out if this particular button is a reproduction of an old coin and who the man is who is pictured on the button. Can anyone help me? Thanks so much!! thyra100
