Hi,please advise various reference materials available for new button collectors. I read some of the previous messages and came across mention of various web sites. Please guide me to these and any other material available. As I'm in Australia, I will have to hunt out the materials. Many thanks,

Button References

Hi emlace3, I have a list of web site for buttons, but I can not post them because of eBay rules. I am working on a web site for a button society here in the states and was making up a list of links. So if you want to send me your email and I be happy to email that list. Also, you can do what I did, simply search for button clubs on the internet. On reference materials, I again have a list of books. Too big place here. Thanks - Linda at The Responder

Best place to research what kind of books on buttons there are is Amazon.Com just search for the word Button and see what comes up then hunt for those titles on eBay. Here are a few button books I can think of: Big Book of Buttons (our "bible"); any titles by Peggy Ann Osborne (author) or Debra Wisniewski (author). Deb sells her books from eBay and her website. e-mail me privately for her website address. Her books are great for beginner to mid range collectors and she has two in print now. -Carol C-

The Colorado State Buttons Society web site www.coloradobuttons.com has a good list of reference books for buttons. Just visit the web site. Thanks - Linda at The Responder
