What these pieces / parts are for?

I have a box with all of these pieces together, does not have any markings, it looks like they were attached to each other or to a machine, like a puzzle,

thanks,

Tracey

OK I've pondered dem pics posted an in da other treads here,

figurin dat this is also part of a wood lathe setup the threaded blocks part of a custom rigged

compound rest

those bracket like pieces a custom mount to a carriage apron on a wood lathe.

Not seeing any part numbers cept that 1960

Guessin that matchin this up to a 60's era Treadle Wood Lathe might be very very hard.

Since most of those are probably scrap metal that has already been recycled meybe a couple of times into what yer driving on da road now.

soo... Also thunkin from seeing all da pieces ya got, Might be sum kinda rig to carve wooden bowls?

But that's just a guess

rest is opinion

It's a clamping V-block set for holding round or square stock parallel to a surface plate, grinder or milling machine table
