I bought a box of books at an auction and in the bottom was a small hardback book, Knight Vale of the KKK by Wm. A. Saxon, copyright 1924, published by Patriot Publishing Company. Dark blue cloth covered boards. Gold lettering on the front with a large US Flag and "Does She Still Wave?" printed above the flag. Any idea of value? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Just back from an estate sale with another fantastic find-- Scrolls from Qumran Cave I The Great Isaiah Scroll, The Order of the Community, The Pesher to Habakkuk from photographs by John C. Trever, published by the Albright Institute of Archaeological Research and the Shrine of the Book, Jerusalem 1972, quarto hardcover, yellow silk in dust jacket, original price on flap $150, signed on half-title page by Trever.Not too common, I gather, but maybe too much of a sleeper for an eBay auction?Thanks for any thoughts you might have, Deb

deb, you can try to sell anything on eBay,
even your soul

Just put a high price on it.

Personally, I go with the high minimum,
instead of a reserve or Buy-it-Now.


That said,
yes,
there are some things that are too good for eBay
hard to sell on eBay for what they should be worth.

Thanks Joel, I agree the high minimums are good for certain items. If I don't get my price, I can just keep it for another day or to try and sell elsewhere. Fortunately I don't have much of an investment in this book. It was a Saturday afternoon half price special.
