I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what type of beads these are on this necklace. They measure 8mm. The clasp and gold beads inbetween the blue beads are 14k. I tried to take some close up pictures, not sure the detail is that great. Thanks for any help

Hi, I don't think these are lapis lazuli because of how there is streaking on the beads under bright light. The streaking makes me think it is blue art glass beads. Lapis lazuli doesn't have this type of streaking. I think the clasp of the necklace on the top isn't gold because of some discoloration in the metal, maybe gold-filled?

The first picture shows a line across the beads--if they are there then they are glass. If they are not then possible a high grade Lapis due to uniform color . However I do not see any gold flecks in the beads which is in the higher quality beads. Could also be sodalite.
