Barbie 850 box dated 1959 blank hair color

I have a vintage Barbie box. One end says teenage fashion model with pedestal Designed and imported by Mattel Inc 1959. The other end says teenage fashion model with pedestal stock no. 850. It is blank where all the other similar boxes say blonde or brunette. Is this rare or worth the same that have the hair color on it. Thanks for any info.

While most boxes had a hair color imprinted, there were boxes where that step was missed. So while they're uncommon, they're not so rare as to be worth much more than a box with a color stamp. And as with all boxes, condition is crucial to determining value.

The only early box I know of that purposely had no color stamp is the box for the brownette bubblecut. If you had a brownette bubble to go in your box, you'd be talking big bucks.
