shipping return address

I live in Fla. half the year and Ohio the other half. I have changed my return address - and the address from where the shipment is being made under account. I have made sure the address is correct when I list - However,  when I go to print a shipping label, I find that the address is now back to the Florida address and zip which will affect the cost of the shipping. What is the problem??  Changing the address right before I print the label does not change the cost of the shipping, but I believe it should - or is that incorrect.
