sending an invoice prompts print shipping label

Does anyone else find that when you send an invoice to a buyer, it prompts "Print Shipping Label" to come up, and then when you click on it, there is not the usual warning message to not print it until the buyer pays?  This has happened to me more than once, but between times I forgot to be careful.  I don't normally send invoices unless the payment is late.  I've called ebay and the customer service (I use that word, but I think it's a misnomer) people just will not listen to any concerns about their system.  All they want to do is prattle on about voiding shipping labels, which I know all about.
