"Add custom item specific" is not working

Hi!

I am new to selling (started in february) and was doing great, but all of the sudden my sales went down 85% for the past 3 weeks, so I started looking to see if I was doing something wrong. I read that you should add more specifics to your listings. So I found the "add custom specific" button and filled in lots of specifics for all my listings. The next day I checked on them and all of the specifics did not show up. I have tried numerous times to add specifics to my listings as most of them are vintage and it would help them be found. But they do not show up even though I added them. I called ebay a week ago and they said it was a glitch and were reporting it to the tech dept. I am confused because I never had this problem before and things sold quickly. Has anyone had this problem? Is there something I can do?  I keep getting emails from ebay to lower my prices and I always do lower them when they suggest it. Even when I lower them I get another email to lower it again on the same day. I have been doing lots of research trying to figure this out as I love doing this and am serious about growing my store, but this abrupt 85% down for 3 weeks is making me wonder if this is not going to work anymore as a side business.  Fyi, I use my iPhone to upload my photos, and then I use my mac computer to complete the listings.
