Hello!   I have had a rash of my sent items not being delivered or lost in transit. I am a very small Ebay seller, and every lost or undelivered item by the USPS necessitates my giving the seller a refund or a replacement. I believe Ebay has enough clout to put pressure on the USPS to improve their performance. Ebay sellers spend a lot of money on USPS shipping fees, and for the USPS to lose packages at the rate they do is entirely unacceptable. Oh brother, if it is this difficult, I will never sell on eBay again! I posted an item on eBay and put $14.95 as the cost for postage. When I sold it eBay sent me a shipping label and my son printed it for me. The shipping label was for a flat rate envelope, not the large box! When I took it to the PO, they would not let me use the shipping label and suggested that I request a refund for that shipping label. I went ahead and paid for all new postage which was $36.55 and had it shipped to the buyer. I have tried and tried to figure out how to request a refund on the first shipping label. And, since I did not use the original shipping label, it will not reflect that it was delivered so they are holding up my funds! What can I do??? ... View more

My $310 package was stolen two days ago.  I have filed a report with the police and they are looking into it.  They also told me that I should contact eBay itself to see if I would be able to receive a return through this way.  Does eBay have any policies that protect the buyer in situations like this?   How can I speak to an eBay representative?? ... I bought a watch on Ebay and seller sent me an empty box with nothing inside, no packing paper or anything.   What was also strange is that it took 4 days from tracking number for the item to be updated on USPS which made me very suspicious that this may be a scam.    I contacted them and they said they cannot call USPS but are waiting for email contact when i called them USPS I got through. They were not helpful and very aggressive from the start, and did not seem concerned or want to resolve the error. I told them if they did not call USPS and resolve the situation, i would leave a negative review.   They did nothing and i left a review warning people that this person was a scammer. However Ebay removed my review saying that i had threatened the seller. I know thats how comes his rating is so high, because Ebay removes negative ratings. How can that simple request count as threatening?   I have already filed a request with ebay but i REALLY want to leave a negative review as i feel that these people NEED to be named. Ebay says the credit card I use for paying fees doesn't work. They are wrong.   I had updated it due to a new expiry date a few weeks ago. Then yesterday I get an email saying this payment method didn't work. So I went into my account to make all the numbers were right, they are.   I had to enter the 3 digits on the back of the card, so *hopefully* that fixed it. But I'm guessing maybe that just blanks out.   I cannot find a phone number to Ebay that works, if anyone has a good phone number, that would be great.   Thank you. ... View more
