how to link USPO to return request

Hi,

   I had purchased a lovely ring for $700, and, three days later, I got laid off from my job.  So the seller accepted my return request.  I used the ebay label for the return, but I sent the item priority mail with insurance to cover the cost of the ring, and certified.   The post office covered over the bar code on the label. 

   According to the USPS site, the package has been delivered, and I expect that the seller will return the signature confirmation.  The seller had been notified that this package was coming.  So now the question is, how do I link the tracking info from the USPS to the ebay return record?  I don't want to mess up the process, and want to keep my 100$% seller/buyer rating, and be in good graces with the seller.
