how to get a return shipping label

I accidentally shipped a customer the wrong item by mixing up shipping labels. How can I purchase a shipping label for him to mail the item back to me. I was able to ship him the correct item.

Since you shipped the correct item, there is no easy way to get a return label through eBay.  You can ask him to open a return, then you can issue a label, but then you are relying on him to close the return when he receives the correct item.  If he doesn't, you will have to refund.

You can create a label at an outside site like pirateship.com, print it to a jpeg file them send it to the buyer in an eBay message.  You can buy a return label that isn't charged until used.
