ebay store vs just listing items

Hello !~

I was wondering if anyone had an opinion about opening an ebay store vs just listing items for seling.

I had to close my brick and mortar store and am left with inventory. my problem is that i am limited on how many things i can list. the choices i have are not what i need. i have much lingerie, games, adult novelties, hookahas, etc. and my alloted limits are not enough. i have gotten them to raise the limits, but it is for caegories i do not need. i was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to just open an ebay store for my items.

but the monthly cost is crazy expensive. it says here i have to sign up for an annual contract, which i am not crazy about. what happens if i open a store and then run out of inventory before the year is up?, am i still going to have to pay a monthly fee? i am really frustrated and wondering what some of you more seasoned sellers thoughts are on this subject.
