ebay.com suddenly turned to a Chinese version of the website but with ebay.com in the address bar.

Oh April 17 2020, I went to ebay.com where I am automatically signed into my account and the main page normally shows items of interest to me specifically, based on search and purchase history, etc. but tonight I was greeted with a puzzling and possibly dangerous situation: ebay.com was completely in CHINESE with Chinese web elements,pictures and so on, with NO personal search history items showing up , but with my user name still signed in! I have tried returning to find this phantom Chinese version of ebay.com but now I can not find it or any info or case history of this happening to anyone else other than, with PAYPAL.COM! This happened to some one with paypal before. Any clues or suggestions? Why would this happen? Have I been just hacked by the CCP(Chinese Communist Party)?

@pianokeyjoe2009  It is most likely just bad cookies, maybe you looked at an item that a Chinese seller had listed on .com the last time you were logged on and the site got confused.  

I would clear my browser history.   And just to be extra safe change your passwords and secret questions.
