eBay search function not working properly on the app

The eBay search function is not working properly on the app, although it works fine on the browser. As an example try typing in "Becker Financial Accounting" on both the browser and the app. You will find that the browser loads plenty of this book for sale, while the app says "no search results found." I wonder if this is a widespread problem and wonder if it is contributing to a decline in sales based on search.

I believe this question has come up before. It appears that app has problems searching for items using the keyword account or accounting.

If you shake your phone while the app is active, you can report a technical issue to eBay.
