Luckily I only end up with customer returns two or three items a year. There are times when I just want to issue a refund and do not want the item back. I do not want the item back because I do not want to pay the return shipping. The problem is, that even though I request that the customer does not return the item, they return it anyway. This is happened to me three times. I offer returns so eBay automatically sends the customer a return label. Most likely they also subsequently pester them via email to return the item. Other than that offering returns does anybody have a solution to this problem. Not offering returns is not a good solution. Just call me tired of having salt rubbed in my wounds.

If you don't want the items returned, I think you can set your return policy to automatically refund without returning.
