buyer has unresonable demands

Hi, I have a problem with a buyer. This person bought a 15pc lot Corningware. 1 piece was broken so I offered to file an insurance claim. She didn't want an insurance claim & demanded that I pay her request  of  full replacement cost out of my own wallet . She said I could file an insurance claim later. She wants the money & to leave me hanging. USPS might want to see the piece & wrapping material. Oh, the replacement cost was almost 1/3 of the total auction cost.
